On a fall afternoon, around 4 pm, it’s a common event to watch deer munching on the field out the back windows of the Promolife offices. In a world of their own they blend nicely with Promolife’s philosophy of promoting a healthier lifestyle. And of course, no matter how many times we see the deer we still ‘ooh’ and ‘ah’ over their majestic ways. As the deer promote a calming effect on us, so it is our goal to provide the service our customers will benefit from the most. |

In The Beginning
Promolife’s thought master is Gerry Segal. Always being interested in alternative health Gerry began creating the Promolife website in 1999. Disaster almost befell the creation before it ever made it to the internet when he accidentally deleted some of the website. But, in no time he had recreated it. Gerry describes himself as the jack-of-all-trades. However, in reality he spends most of his time talking to customers, finding new products and designing new web pages. When he isn’t working Gerry stays active by biking, hiking and swimming. He thinks the Oxygen Swing Machine is a great gift as it helps in so many different areas of rebuilding the body. |
| And Then There Was Two
Shortly after the Promolife website went online, in 2000, Yvonne Segal joined Gerry in the business. As a husband and wife team they ran Promolife for a couple of years without additional help. Yvonne is the chief financial officer, bookkeeper and director of human resources. Yvonne enjoys a variety of after work activities, including hiking and biking, but also movies, cooking and reading. Our new Far Infrared Heating Pad is Yvonne’s favorite present. She plans on giving one to all her friends. She is so sweet! |

Promolife Becomes A Family Affair
In 2003 Tobias Segal joined the Promolife team with his parents. He concentrates on sales and customer services. As a college student he works part-time. During the summer he prefers working outside fixing the building, or mowing the deer field. But, he is full of innovative ideas and will graduate this next spring with a degree in business management. He, like his parents, enjoys biking and hiking. Even though Arkansas doesn’t have any ski slopes Tobias is also an avid skier. Being a sun lover he thinks the best gift is a Sunlamp. |
| Promolife Continues To Grow
Two years ago Kathy Kisida joined Promolife part-time as the customer service manager. Her good nature is ideal for the variety of issues she handles. I know it’s a bit of a broken record, but Kathy also enjoys hiking along with gardening and photography. She gives the Magic Massager a perfect ‘10′ as a gift for any occasion. |

A half year later Kathy’s son, Cosmo, became Promolife’s webmaster. He was part of the team that built the new site which went online a year ago. Along with web design Cosmo is both the internet marketing and shipping manager. His pleasant nature has made him a favorite with the customers. And, guess what? Yep, he likes to hike and bike too. Cosmo uses the Porcelain Water Dispenser and thinks it is a great gift. |
| I’m the last human to join the team. I, Cat Pippin Lowe, have been working at Promolife for over a year. Like everyone else I answer phones and help customers. However, I am responsible for the majority of graphic design work and also create the newsletter. I enjoy gardening and playing the classical guitar. My favorite product which I think makes the perfect gift is the Personal Far Infrared Sauna. It feels so good to sweat so much. |

Last But Not Least
No Promolife biography would be complete without introducing the creatures which greatly add to the soothing atmosphere of the office. Perry is the dog of the manor. I bribe him with dog treats every morning. His job is begging for food, getting strokes and asking to be let outside. For fun he barks at the deer, so they will chase him. His sister, Saphira, is a cat. Saphira only graces us with her presence a few times a week. No one has ever followed her around to find out what she does for fun, and we dare not ask her. Perry and Saphira got together and decided the only present worth giving this year, or any year, is the Flea Zapper. As Perry so aptly put it, “You try sleeping 20 hours a day when you’ve got an insatiable itch.” |
Our Wish To You
We at Promolife would like to thank you for a great year and hope your coming year finds you well and happy.
HAVE A GREAT 2008!
